A hobo cooker, also hobo stove
He is named after the hobos, North American migrant workers, especially during the Great Depression, where he served as a stove and heater which works through the chimney effect.
The traditional method of placing a pot on three stones and lighting a fire in between, is uneconomical, because only a small part of the heat heats the pot.
The hobo cooker uses this energy better.
The cooker has the dimensions 10 x 14 cm. The pack size is only 11 x 14 x 2 cm and can be easily transported in any backpack. The cooker weighs only 400 gr.
